    Why do I need to trim my candle wick?

    Trimming the wick to about ¼ inch before each burn prevents mushrooming, reduces smoke and soot, and creates a more even, longer-lasting burn. The trimmer's built-in catcher collects the debris cleanly.

    What's the difference between a wick snuffer and a wick dipper?

    The snuffer covers the flame to extinguish it safely without splattering wax. The dipper presses the lit wick into the melted wax to extinguish it — this coats the wick, eliminating smoke and priming it for your next burn.

    Does this kit work with all candles?

    Yes — the tools work with any candle brand or size. They're especially great with our coconut soy blend wax candles to keep them burning cleanly for their full 84-hour or 30-hour burn time.
